Father Christmas Needs Your Help… Introducing TheBadgeMan Ltd Christmas 2024 Charity Appeal

“Safe Families offer support, hope and belonging to families and their children who feel isolated and overwhelmed to prevent needs escalating. Safe Families volunteers fulfil two main roles; Family Friends who work directly with families, giving practical and emotional support to parents and children and Host Families who open their homes to look after children from a night or two to a couple of weeks, giving a regular break and space to families when this is needed. Safe Families recently merged our charity with Home for Good. Home for Good and Safe Families have a bold vision, a vision that says no one should feel alone. That means finding a home for every child who needs one. Every family and child who is isolated and overwhelmed has the love, support, and encouragement to thrive as a family.

We currently work with 15 families in Southampton. Over the last 7 years we have worked with 430 families in Southampton. We see an 80% decrease in Social care escalation with the families we work with. We are excited to see how we can make this Christmas less financially stressful for the ones we work with. 100% of the donations from TheBadgeMan Ltd with go directly to the local families. We assess the needs on an individual basis. This will be essential funding to help local families in need”
